get off your ass

have you ever had to work with someone that was a complete slob? some people are raised differently than others or are just more extreme when it comes to being clean and organized. i totally GET THAT! it’s not my place to step in and say something it’s someone of hirer power, someone in charge. however, i’m in the position where that someone in charge looks past it, because it’s their “personality” and “there is nothing we can do to change that”. okay, so we can’t change who you are, but because you’re a pig i have to do extra work to clean up after you? i call bullshit.
if i were in charge i would step in. you’re going to be a slob and need more direction…then i’ll give it to you. i would give specific directions. for example, “hey, the floor needs swept you mind doing that?” and “let’s make sure the kitchen is neat and tidy when you’re done today.” now i know in my situation sometimes when exact orders are given like “can you empty the dishwasher, please?” they are ignored. instead of letting it go keep pressing the issue or NOTHING will get solved and there will be ZERO changes.
i’m just tired of doing extra work because other people sit around doing nothing.
