yes, i did just Picnik that photo ha ha. i’ve done quite a few signings. anywhere from baby pens to fleury. tonight was letang and he definitely had the longest line i have seen. i’m used to the routine of standing in line having your things ready to sign (out of the bag or package etc.). kris letang’s “following” brought a whole new group of people. people that apparently had no idea there would be a line to wait in and only seemed to be worried about how “dreamy” kris letang is. now don’t get me wrong the man is fine, but that’s not why i’m there. i have gotten over being bothered by those types of fans, but i still like to listen in on the conversations where letang is being compared to crosby in the “looks” department (lol). well i always have something in mind to say before meeting a player. my dad said, “just go up and kiss him on the mouth…he’s just so cute!” (my father is a happily married straight man and even he see’s it lol). well ignoring my father’s suggestion i thought about asking about the all-star game and then i thought about just bringing up how well the team is playing. you know the easy things to talk about. nope, i decide to tell letang that he seems to bring all the hoes out. yes, i even said hoes, but it’s true! haha i’m not sure how he took it, but everyone else was laughing. letang wasn’t the shyest, but wasn’t the most friendly (johnson). he was very nice, looked you right in the eye (for almost an awkward amount of time) and smiled for pictures. it’s always an experience to meet a player and always a lot of fun. :)
